Richard Dymes had a group of men who layed sand and mucke in the Norwich castle dikes:

The names of such as have caryed soile into the Castle dikes Mr Robert Tompson Doctor Burnett John Kitchingman Jacob Depute Edward Wyer by Richard Dymes Diggers of sand & layers of mucke in the Castle dikes.

Richard married Katherine about 1623. (Katherine was buried on 18 Mar 1629 in Shipdham, Norfolk, England.)

Richard next married Elizabeth Upcroft on 26 Jun 1634 in Shipdham, Norfolk, England.
