2 Dec 1840 Apprentice to George Fox, silversmith of Old Street. Fox was a freeman of the Clothworkers Company.
1 Mar 1848 made a Freeman of Clothworkers Company. Living at 11 Salisbury Street.
1851 Silversmith plateworker.
Samuel emigrated to America with his brother Richard and landed at York Town on 29th December 1853. Samuel was 24 and Richard was 17.
