1839, 1840 Wharfinger and Ship agent.
1841 Living at 3 Orchard Place, Camberwell New Road. The family had two live in servants.
1851, 1867, Living at 7 Park Terrace.

John married Ann Dimes, daughter of Charles Dimes and Susannah Oliver, on 27 Mar 1824 in St. Mary, Lambeth, London. (Ann Dimes was born on 31 Jul 1802 in City of London, London, England, christened on 3 Sep 1802 in St. Botolph Aldgate, London, England and died in 1878 in Lambeth, Surrey, England.)
