Lived like a tramp with Nobby Hobbs (Louisa Hobbs brother). They lived in an old caravan at Dora's Green, a few hundred yards south of the intersection of Doras Green Lane and Heath Lane, in a field on the right. Sometimes would wear an old sack over his head. Did hedging and ditching.
