In 1939 a plumber.
In late 1940's lived next door to his sister and her husband Mary and Arthur in Farnham. They both lived just down the hill from other brother Albert.

Charles George Dimes of 9 Mount Pleasant, Farnham, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Portsmouth. He was the third son of Mr and Mrs W. Dimes of West Street and educated at the former West Street Boys School. He was a keen footballer and keen on pigeon shooting. He was an original member of the Farnham Gardens and Allotments Association and had won prizes. He was a member of the Hop Blossom Lodge of Oddfellows. During World Was Two he had been in the ARP. He had been a plumber and heating engineer with A. Dean's company in West Street and had married Mr. Deans sister, Dorothy May Dean. He leaves a wife, two brothers and a sister Mrs A.Kinge. Another brother T. A. (Tim) Dimes, a well known sportsman died a few years ago. A floral tribute came from the Old Fire Brigade Social Club.
