CAPPETTA, MARGARET "PEG" Margaret "Peg" Criscuolo Cappetta, 91, of Branford, formerly of North Haven, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the CT Hospice, Branford after a long illness. Devoted wife of the late Edward F. Cappetta. Peg was born in New Haven on March 21, 1919; daughter of the late Vincent and Rose Brancati Criscuolo. She had worked in the personnel department at the New Haven Clock Co., at W.T. Grants and at ACES in North Haven. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Barnabas Church. Throughout the years Peg enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining her extended family and many friends. She loved taking trips, playing cards, bingo and wii. While residing at the Hearth at Gardenside, Peg participated in the many social activities offered and served on several committees. Peg was a warm, gentle person who loved everyone and didn't hesitate to help others in their time of need. Beloved mother of Adela B. Cumbo of Branford, Edward "Sonny" Cappetta of Atlanta, GA and Howard J. (Sandra) Cappetta of North Haven. Sister of Immaculate "Macky"(Charles) Costanzo of East Haven and the late Louise Manzelli, Christine Riccitelli, Carmel, Mary, Anna and Andrew Criscuolo. Also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Branford Hospice Home Care and the inpatient facility for their kind care and support during Peg's illness.

Margaret married Edward F. Cappetta, son of Joseph Ernest Cappetta and Philomena Vece. (Edward F. Cappetta was born on 26 Oct 1917 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, USA and died on 15 Feb 2005 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.)
