At aged 6, Anna emigrated to the US to be with her Aunt in 1885. Anna went back to school in Germany at age 11, then emmigrated again to America in 1896 age 16.
She became a cook at a German Restaurant in Yorkville, Manhattan.
In 1910 census was living at 2159 Story Avenue, Unionport.
In 1930 census was living at 940 Castle Hill Avenue, the Bronx.
