At time of marriage lived at 34 Greenwich St. New York called Carl Axel in all other documents called Charles.
In 1905 state census living at 431 West 48th Street, Manhattan.
In 1910 census longshoreman in the docks, living at 237 East 113th Street, Manhattan.
Occupation erected clothes line poles. May have died of diphtheria.

Carl married Mamie Henrietta Eckhoff, daughter of Herman Eckhoff and Minnie Brutt, on 6 Feb 1899 in Manhattan, New York, NY. (Mamie Henrietta Eckhoff was born in 1878 in Hoboken, New Jersey, USA, died in 1959 in Bronx, New York, New York, USA and was buried in St. Raymonds Cemetery, Bronx, New York.)
