  General Notes:

1891 living in Crondall with his wife's Catherine's parents. and their 2 children. Their two oldest children George and Catherine were probably living in Northumberland.
Between 1913 and 1915, John, Catherine and most of their children, except the eldest, moved to America. They eventually settled in northern New Mexico, in the coal mine camps around Raton, Colfax County. Although the father John returned to England about 1921, many descendents still live nearby.

John married Catherine Kate Dimes, daughter of John Dimes and Elizabeth Windiate, on 24 Dec 1886 in Aldershot, Hampshire, England. (Catherine Kate Dimes was born on 10 Dec 1864 in Crondall, Hampshire, England, christened on 15 Jan 1865 in Crondall, Hampshire, England and died on 6 Aug 1937 in Raton, New Mexico, USA.)
