Farnham Herald 3 April 1937:
The death occurred on Thursday week after a short illness of Mrs. Mary Hurdle, of Grovers Farm, Willey. Deceased, who was 74 years old, was a native of Crondall, being formerly a Miss Dimes. She maried Mr W.T. Hurdle of Halfway House, Dippenhall, in 1895, and had lived in the district all her life. Mr Hurdle has worked on various farms in the neighbourhood and is now employed by Mr C. F. Falkner of Dippenhall. Besides him, one son, Mr. George Hurdle, of Burnham, Bucks, is left in bereavement. The funeral services at Farnham Cemetery on Tuesday was conducted by the Rev. G.T. Roe. Th mourners were Mr W.T. Hurdle (husband), Mr and Mrs G. Hurdle (son and daughter in law), G. and W. Dimes (brothers), A.G. Hurdle (nephew), Mrs Dodd (neice), Miss Edith and Miss H. Dimes (cousins) and Mrs Briggs. Among the floral tributes were those to sister from George and F. Dimes (Eversley) and Gransdons JKim and Len.

Mary married William Thomas Mintern Hurdle, son of David Hurdle and Christiana Mintern, on 10 Dec 1892 in Crondall, Hampshire, England. (William Thomas Mintern Hurdle was born on 4 Jun 1867 in Crondall, Hampshire, England and died in 1949 in Burnhum, Buckinghamshire, England.)
