28th February 1929 sailed from Southampton on the SS Ausonia arriving on 8th March in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
WW2 joined the Winnipeg Grenadiers. He was captured by the Japanese and held in a POW camp in Hong Kong. Here he went blind and fortunately his sight was later restored.
1949 was a chef on the Winnipeg voting list. Lived at 564 Balmoral Street.
