1891 census, living with the family at 34 Lincoln Road, East Finchley. September 1891, sent to school in Hamburg, Germany. 1901 census, a solicitor's clerk, living in Kensington. November 1901 admitted as a solicitor. Extract from "Wadstray House, a Hostory" by Irene O'Shea .. About 1905, Percy and his wife went for a holiday to Wadstray. They were met at the Dartmouth railway station by Douglas in the pony and trap. The pony was called "Mousie". Apparently she had rather a hard mouth and suddenly on the way back, thinking of her new foal left behind in the stable, took the bit between her teeth and bolted all the way home. After a rather hair raising and breathless journey, they were greeted by his father who mildly remarked "You made that journey in good time". 1911 Enlisted in the Artists Rifles, 28th London Regiment, a volunteer force. WW1 Corporal Gunnery Instructor in UK. Later, became Sargeant Instructor with the RAF. 1921 Working in the Solicitor's Department of the London County Council. Appointed Assistant Solicitor in charge of the Public Inquiries and Prosecutions branch. As well as this post, he also attended to all the legal work connected to the Oldstone estate. 1934, 1957, living at 2 East Sheen Lodge, SW 14 which stood my the Sheen Gate of Richmond Park.
Percy married Grace Chater Q3 1903 in Kensington, London, England. (Grace Chater was born on 21 Jan 1881 and died on 17 Feb 1975.)
